Year 2 at Woburn Safari Park

Year 2 travelled to Woburn Safari Park to gain knowledge for their Living Things and their Habitats unit in Science.

On Thursday 14th March, Year 2 set off on a wild adventure to Woburn Safari Park.  We had a guided tour around the Safari, looking at the bears, rhinos, giraffes, lions, tigers and the antelopes! We snaked our way through the monkey jungle where both coaches were joined by some friends on the roof who didn't want to get down!

After stopping for lunch, we walked around the other enclosures visiting the penguins, lemurs and other smaller animals then had a talk about what animals diets are like and how their poo can tell us if they are a carnivore or a herbivore!

The day ended with trip to the soft play centre to have a run around (even the teachers wen down the big slides!)
