Key Policies and Documents

Our safeguarding practices follow statutory guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and Working Together to Safeguard Children.

These are reviewed annually and updated to reflect the latest statutory requirements.

How We Keep Pupils Safe

We ensure that safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do:

  • Safe Recruitment: All staff, governors and volunteers are safely recruited, including enhanced DBS checks.

  • Staff Training: All staff receive annual safeguarding and child protection training, including Prevent Duty and online safety.

  • Curriculum: Safeguarding themes are embedded across the curriculum, including PSHE, RSE and online safety.

  • Pupil Voice: Children are encouraged to talk to trusted adults and know they will be listened to.

  • Online Safety: We teach children how to stay safe online and provide guidance for parents and carers.

  • Partnerships: We work closely with external agencies, including social care and local safeguarding partnerships.
