Southfields Primary School

Welfare Contact

The primary role of the Welfare Team is to support the pupils within the school.  This may from time to time involve supporting, guiding and feeding back to parents.  On a day to day basis the Welfare Team comprises of Mr Charles and Mrs Hilton.  It may be that the other team members of the Safeguarding Team may become involved in working with families; however on a day to day basis the Welfare Team would be the primary contact.

The Welfare Team will always prioritise the pupils needs and parents will not always be able to see staff at short notice as the safeguarding of pupils comes first.  If you are unable to come to a pre-planned CP or EHA or CiN meeting please inform the school to allow time to be used most effectively to benefit pupils.

Please email the team using this email at welfare@southfields.peterborough.sch.uk

Alternatively, telephone the school on 01733 562873 and ask to be transferred to the Welfare Department

or write to the Welfare Department - if the contents of the letter are confidential please mark this on the envelope

The welfare office is open from 9.00am and closes at 3.30pm.

Pupils not collected by the close of the Welfare office will be passed onto the Senior Leadership Team who will follow this up with a meeting with parents.
